 A great trip to celebrate the end of a great school year!

Tennis stars of the future

 We all love our PE lessons and have been working very hard this term to improve our tennis skills.  Watch out Wimbledon, we could be stars of the future!

Miniature Gardens

 We have been busy in class designing miniature gardens.  We have thought carefully about what we could include in our gardens and drawn maps to illustrate our ideas.  Today we headed out in to the grounds to begin collecting some natural resources before making a start on our creations.  Watch this space for updates on how our gardens develop over the coming weeks.

Spending money!

 In maths this week Year 1 children have been demonstrating how good they are at spending money!  The children have set up a shop in the classroom selling delicious cakes, ice creams and fruit and have had a great time taking turns in purchasing some treats or checking coins to make amounts.  We will be all set to spend our money in the gift shop at Lightwater Valley during our trip on Friday!

Sports Day
